Jacob,
Today I'm starting a blog so that when you are older we can read together all the memories I have about your first year. When I was pregnant with you I was too excited to wait to tell your Daddy so I took a picture of the positive pregnancy test and texted it to him while he was at work. You will start to learn this about me, I'm not good at keeping secrets!
Being pregnant with you was amazing! I felt you kick all the time. One day Daddy had his head on my belly and you kicked him right in the face. We laughed so hard! It was then that I knew you would be just like your strong-willed mama. One of my favorite memories is feeling you hiccup about the same time every night. I would just lay there and feel you hiccup and pray that it didn't hurt too bad. I loved that time. I would talk to you about those hiccups and how they would sound so funny. I also sang to you a lot and you would kick like crazy. I knew also you would love music just like your Mommy and Daddy.
I was so excited to meet you! I could barely think of anything else.

Right now I'm holding you and you are snoring. Can I just tell you how lovely that sound is?
